These are the artificial types of flooring manufactured with a mixture of natural wood and unnatural raw materials.

Engineered hardwood is also referred to as mass timber, composite wood, artificial wood, man-made wood

The technology of manufacture uses a range of wood products bonded together under heat and pressure.

Basically, the raw materials include hardwood components, particles, fibres, veneers or boards and adhesives. These are fused together in 3 – 5 layers of materials.

Artificial wood floors are common and there is no significant difference between them and the natural wooden floor.
